Following
are the procedures for the TDA Land Disposition Process, in outline form.
Please contact the TDA office for the date(s) of the next sale.
- TDA Facilities
will open at 8:45a.m. on the day of sale.
- Hand-outs
which outline our processes will be posted at the conference room entrance
on the day of sale.
- Prior
to beginning any sales activities, TDA will explain its intent or purpose
for the disposition process. In brief, the process:
- Affords
individuals or potential residents the opportunity to acquire lots
prior to builder/developer solicitations
- Provides
everyone with an equal opportunity to purchase and eliminates the
concept of first come first served.
- Eliminates
negations, as all properties are sold at Full Market Value (FMV)
based on the propertys appraisal.

is an overview of the registration process and how the disposition lots
will be awarded:
The lot
registration process:
TDA will
announce each property. Lots requiring special attention will disclosed
at this time. The process for awarding lots (Single interest and multiple
interest sites) also will be discussed.
- Prospective
buyers will execute the required documentation and submit their
earnest deposit
- Prospective
buyers will sign and date the Registration of Prospect form
- Prospective
buyers will sign and date an Offer Letter
- Prospective
Buyers will submit Good Faith deposit/Escrow funds
- The
TDA will provide a photocopier to supply awardees with a copy of
the appropriate documentation and of their check
