The TDA participates in new construction projects as well as the rehabilitation of existing properties. While new development projects can invigorate a community, it also is vital to preserve our rich heritage. The Tulsa Development Authority is charged with the responsibility for both.

Through the efforts of the Tulsa Development Authority’s Real Estate Division and its Rehabilitation and Emergency Repair Assistance programs, new life has been infused into many of Tulsa’s aging communities. The results of these efforts are new urban technology and business centers to help uplift our economy, affordable suburban residential development to help our families realize part of the American dream, and low-interest home improvement loans and emergency grants to help those in times of need.

The Westport Apartments and the Westbank revitalization of the Arkansas River were built on a former dumpsite reclaimed by TDA.
